No other technical invention has influenced the development of mankind more than the watch. A world without the reliable synchronization of temporal processes is inconceivable today. As early as the Middle Ages, the efforts of the watchmakers were focused solely on measuring time accurately and perfecting their craft. The precision and esthetics of a mechanical watch still thrill us today. Its timeless principle has been ingeniously optimized and implemented in the 6100 REGULATEUR series by Sinn.

The 6100 White Gold model reflects the self-image and philosophy of the Sinn company down to the tiniest detail. As a valuable collectible, the model exists in a strictly limited series of only 45 timepieces. The elegant case is made of 18-carat white gold alloyed with palladium, and provides a striking contrast to the electroplated charcoal grey guilloché dial. The crystal and back are anti-reflective to ensure optimal readability and a clear view of the exquisitely decorated SZ04 movement. The impressive Sinn SZ04 movement provided the basis for the conversion to the Regulateur movement. The crown is sealed with the SINN D3-System. This beautiful timepiece comes with two black straps: one made of genuine alligator leather with a species protection certificate and buckle made of 18-carat white gold and the other made of calf leather. You'll also find spare spring bars, a strap-changing tool, an Eschenbach watchmaker's loupe and a cleaning cloth.

Today, every hour, every minute, every second counts. This hallmark of the present had its origin in the 18th century. Louis Berthoud, son of the famed watchmaker Ferdinand Berthoud, developed the Regulateur dial. His idea was that the minute hand should be dominant, while the hour and second hands rotate in separate areas of the dial. This was a ground-breaking invention which also accommodated a general development: people were increasingly measuring the most minute units of time. They increasingly demanded time measurement that was both accurate and identical everywhere. The new dial appeared in precision pendulum clocks, known as the regulators. They synchronized processes and measurements in transportation, trade and communications, and functioned as timers in the centuries that followed. Until the late 1960s, precision pendulum clocks were the standard used for official determination of the time - until they were replaced by atomic clocks. Round pendulums (in this watch a balance aligned with screws) facilitate the continuous and precise movement of the hour, minute and second hands. The classic look of the REGULATEUR consciously focuses on a single minute hand as the primary time measurement. The timepiece has a guilloché dial with contrasting appliqués. The numerals are delicate and recall the style of historic predecessors.

How can you re-interpret a classic of the traditional art of watchmaking for our times? Our master watchmakers and engineers searched for an appropriate solution with particular passion as they developed this watch. Their impressive result is the 6100 REGULATEUR Technik.

However, in comparison to the other REGULATEUR watches which remind one of their historic predecessors, the 6100 REGULATEUR Technik has an ultra-modern look in which perfect readability has absolute priority. This is why we intentionally designed this watch to be plain and simple - while retaining the familiar REGULATEUR appearance. We have consistently implemented the principle of readability with a luminous special coating on the hands and indices.

The perfect implementation of the contemporary 6100 REGULATEUR Technik is complemented by the meticulously detailed minute scale on the interior ring and the classic hand-wound SZ 04 movement with a second stop function.
